Whistler's Foto source is a full-service photographic solution center, located in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Directly across the village square from Araxi's restaurant featured on the Gordon Ramsey show Hells Kitchen.
We are your one-stop camera shop for all your imaging needs, from purchasing digital cameras & accessories to photofinishing and enlarging prints. On-line ordering of Foto books, Canvas prints up to 36"x36".
We are excited to be located in the Host mountain resort for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. The 21st winter Games by most standards were some of the best as far as the organization and execution. We are also very happy for James Walt and the staff of Araxi for their recognition by Gordon Ramsey of Hells Kitchen as the best restaurant in Canada.
Our goal is to have customers return through the practice of good service, high quality, and attention to detail. In a resort environment we are unique! We retain staff for the long term, which helps us to achieve the professional levels, that both residents and guests to our resort have come to expect.
We opened in December 1984 under the banner Whistler One Hour Photo, in the Nancy Greene's Olympic Lodge, now the Crystal Lodge, is in the heart of Whistler's pedestrian village. Originally we were named Whistler One Hour Photo but as the business evolved and our customer base grew we joined the Foto Source group to allow us to provide cameras and related items at competitive price points. We have been Members of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce as well as Tourism Whistler since we opened. As our environment struggles we are actively pursuing ways to reduce our carbon footprint, striving to become carbon neutral and ideally carbon negative.
